NUDO Poetry Festival Marks Tenth Anniversary in Barcelona with Expanded Multimedia Programming

The NUDO festival, dedicated to poetry, is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Barcelona. Organized by the cultural association Rayos y Centellas, the annual event has been held since 2017 and serves as a gathering that honors language and artistic expression. The festival has evolved beyond traditional poetry readings by incorporating multimedia elements, advocating for works that combine moving images, poetic language, and sound. Its programming now includes staged poetry performances, creative workshops, a poetry fair, photography exhibitions, visual poetry displays, and videopoetry screenings. This diverse approach aims to reach wider audiences and explore innovative artistic forms. For its tenth edition, NUDO has issued several open calls for artists and creators, notably the V2 versos&visuals 2026 initiative. This call invites submissions of audiovisual pieces that integrate verse and motion, with selected participants eligible for a €350 prize and public screening during the official festival program in Barcelona. The submission deadline is March 29, 2026. The festival reinforces its commitment to promoting contemporary poetry and supporting artistic creation, establishing itself as a meeting point for artists and new poetic expressions.
