Nos Histoires Returns to Avignon OFF 2026 After Critical Success

After two critically acclaimed Avignon Festival runs, a sold-out Quebec tour, and a successful Paris engagement, the play "Nos Histoires" returns to the Théâtre des Lucioles for the 2026 Avignon OFF festival. Written by Frédérique Auger and directed by Giorgia Sinicorni, the production stars Auger and Jean-Charles Chagachbanian. The story follows Vicky, a Quebecois woman, and Maxime, who both unknowingly experience controlling relationships—Vicky with her new boyfriend and Maxime with his mother who is also his boss. They help each other in their quest for freedom. The play is described as a hymn to friendship and a hopeful narrative. Performances run from July 4 to July 25, 2026, with a break on July 15, at 10 rue du Rempart St Lazare, Avignon, starting at 9 PM. Tickets range from €12 to €23.
