NOMAD Hamptons Inaugural Edition at Watermill Center
NOMAD will launch its first US edition at The Watermill Center in the Hamptons from June 25 to 28. Founded by Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, the fair spans design, contemporary and modern art, jewelry, and architecture. The Hamptons edition continues NOMAD's emphasis on location, referencing the area's artistic legacy of Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, and Willem de Kooning. Cultural exchange with the Arab world is central, with participants including Leila Heller Gallery, Kalei, Iris Projects, Le LAB, and GLIF. A special exhibition titled 'Rooted Movements' in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi will feature Emirati artists Afra Al Dhaheri, Zuhoor Al Sayegh, and Azza Al Qubaisi. Previous NOMAD editions have been held in Capri, St Moritz, Monaco, Venice, Abu Dhabi, and a virtual Venice edition.
