Nikon Pop-Up Gallery at Arles 2026 Features Mïa L’Envers and Rafaelle Lorgeril

festival-fair · 2026-07-01

During the 57th edition of the Rencontres d’Arles, Nikon will open a pop-up gallery at 51 rue du Quatre Septembre from July 8 to 10, 2026. The space will showcase the photographic universes of Mïa L’Envers and Rafaelle Lorgeril, each presenting 10 to 15 images in intimate 20-square-meter exhibition areas. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the gallery will host public vernissages on July 8 (L’Envers) and July 10 (Lorgeril), as well as workshops and a free sensor cleaning service each morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nikon will also sell cameras, lenses, and merchandise. L’Envers’ work is described as intuitive and sensory, exploring familiar subjects through light and emotion. Lorgeril’s series, drawn from her forthcoming book "Où vont les souvenirs lorsqu’ils s’effacent ?", blurs the boundaries between memory and imagination. The 57th Rencontres d’Arles, themed "Des Mondes à Relire," focuses on narratives from Africa and the Mediterranean, featuring archives, monographic exhibitions, and emerging scenes.
