Nicola Constantino Named Guest Artist for ARTESANTANDER 2026

Argentine artist Nicola Constantino (Rosario, 1964) will be the guest artist at the 34th edition of ARTESANTANDER, held from July 2 to 5, 2026 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Santander. Constantino, who represented Argentina at the 2013 Venice Biennale and has exhibited in museums in Liverpool, Tel Aviv, and Zurich, will present two site-specific projects. For the opening, she will perform "Tortas Costantinopla," an edible art action turning ice cream desserts into ephemeral canvases. During the fair, her installation "Quiosco de flores" will function as a flower stall staffed by the artist, offering pieces inspired by plant forms made with ancient Japanese ceramic techniques like nerikomi. The fair aims to bring internationally renowned artists to the public.
