festival-fair · 2026-04-06

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires will participate in La Noche de los Museos, opening its doors for public visits and activities. The museum's annual exhibition program, titled 'Arte Es Teatro,' serves as the framework for the event. Five current exhibitions will be accessible: 'Moderno y MetaModerno,' 'Dalila Puzzovio: Autorretrato,' 'Bárbara Bianca LaVogue: Tu presencia en mí,' 'Nacha Guevara: Aquí estoy,' and 'Alberto Passolini: Soñar a borbotones.' A key accessible tour, developed in collaboration with the Fundación Nínawa Daher, will focus on the exhibition 'Esto es teatro. Once escenas experimentales: del Di Tella al Parakultural,' featuring sound works and productions from creators bridging visual and performing arts. This tour requires prior registration and begins at 6 PM in the entrance hall. Several drop-in creative workshops will run throughout the evening in the Sala Supervielle, inspired by the exhibitions. From 7 PM to 11:30 PM, a character creation workshop draws from Dalila Puzzovio's work. A mask-making party, reflecting the 'Arte Es Teatro' theme, is scheduled from 7 PM to 9:30 PM. Later, from 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM, a 'Laboratorio Concreto-Invención' workshop invites participants to create on unconventional supports, inspired by the Madí and Concreto-Invención movements. Concurrently, the museum will host the 4th edition of the Feria del Libro de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales (FLHU) on November 8 and 9. Over 50 publishers will offer specialized books in humanities and social sciences, with a special selection on performing arts and a curated children's section, accompanied by talks and debates. The Café del Moderno will also be open from 7 PM, serving specialty coffee and local pastries.
