Musée d'Orsay hosts Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 creators and concert
The Musée d'Orsay in Paris is hosting a special evening on June 25 dedicated to the award-winning video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, developed by Sandfall Interactive. The event coincides with the exhibition Renoir e l'amore: una gioiosa modernità, open until July 19. Creative director Guillaume Broche and art director Nicholas Maxson-Francombe will discuss how painting inspired their work, moderated by curator Nicolas Gausserand. Composers Lorien Testard and Alice Duport-Percier will perform a mini-concert of the game's soundtrack, which has sold out worldwide as A Painted Symphony. A temporary exhibition revealing parallels between the game's imagery and Musée d'Orsay collections runs from June 23 to 28. The game won a record nine awards at the 2025 Game Awards, including Game of the Year. Tickets cost €14 for adults, €10 for under-26s, with reservations opening June 9 at 11:00 CET.
