Modena Hosts Masterclass for Artists Under 35 Exploring Sound and Visual Arts Connections

Fondazione Ago Modena Fabbriche Culturali and Fondazione Collegio San Carlo are organizing a free masterclass titled 'Interferenze tra suoni e visioni' on March 28. The event targets young artists under 35, though morning sessions are open to all ages. It aims to investigate links between sound experimentation and visual languages while preparing participants for the Elettrobiblioteca competition. This contest invites pairs of musicians and visual artists under 35 to create multimedia works based on historical music archives from the Archivio Storico Diocesano di Modena-Nonantola, with winners receiving €4,000 and mentorship from experts including Christian Fogarolli, Luca Roccatagliati, and Riccardo Castagnetti. The masterclass includes presentations and networking sessions at two Modena locations.
