Milan Design Week 2026 Expands Collectible Design with New Fairs, Immersive Experiences, and Conceptual Exhibitions

Milan Design Week 2026, scheduled from April 21 to 26, aims to broaden the scope of collectible design within a cultural framework. Salone Raritas, under the curation of Annalisa Rosso and the design of Formafantasma, will showcase 25 exhibitors at Fiera Milano Rho. The Nilufar Grand Hotel, conceptualized by Nina Yashar, integrates design elements into hotel settings, featuring contributions from david/nicolas, Filippo Carandini, and Allegra Hicks. DEORON presents an interactive exhibition with over 50 designers. Movimento Gallery's One, Two, Many highlights seven designers focusing on metallic finishes. SOLIDIFIED emphasizes material contrasts, while Eugenio Laponte's PRAGMA questions comfort through angular forms. Delvis(Un)Limited's The Romance of Fragility, curated by Valentina Ciuffi, offers a fresh take on fragility using glass. The event prioritizes research-driven, slower design methodologies.
