Microsoft Brand Heritage Project Features 3D Shapes Based on Historical Logos

digital · 2026-04-02

A collaborative project between Microsoft Design and the agency Deepyellow™ has produced a series of three-dimensional forms derived from the technology company's previous logo designs. The initiative, overseen by art director Nertil Muhaxhiri, explores the visual evolution of Microsoft's branding through geometric interpretations. Deepyellow™ handled the creation of the shapes, along with accompanying animations and musical elements. Microsoft Art Director Nando Costa contributed to the production efforts. This work serves as a tribute to the corporation's design legacy and was developed specifically for Microsoft Brand Heritage. The project results are accessible online, with additional design materials available through Deepyellow™'s website and social media channels.
