Manufactory x ArtReview Writer’s Residency 2026 Open Call for UK-Based Writers
Park Royal Design District and ArtReview announce an open call for the inaugural Manufactory x ArtReview Writer’s Residency, part of the new interdisciplinary Manufactory festival in London’s largest industrial estate. Two UK-based writers will be selected for a four-week residency from 17 August to 13 September 2026, receiving a £2,000 stipend, editorial mentorship from ArtReview, and access to PRDD networks. The residency focuses on place-responsive writing engaging with Park Royal’s architectures of production, creative ecologies, and communities. Applications are due 9 June 2026, with selected writers confirmed by 24 June and public announcement on 30 June. The selection panel includes Manufactory Programme Director Mazzy-Mae Green, ArtReview’s Fi Churchman, and interdisciplinary artist Abbas Zahedi.
