Luís Onofre Debuts SS27 "CHROMATIC TENSION" Collection at ModaLisboa
Portuguese footwear designer Luís Onofre presented his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled CHROMATIC TENSION, on the runway at ModaLisboa. The show was built around contrast: electric blues, neon turquoise and sunny yellows set against deep wine reds, vivid oranges, and graphic black-and-white monochrome. Silhouettes ranged from sculpted daytime flats to 10 cm slim-back stilettos, sleek mules, reworked loafers and strappy sandals, with reworked 1980s architectural heels given ergonomic new proportions. Production stays in Portugal under artisanal standards, and the atelier continues to incorporate recycled elements and bio-based solutions into its methods. APICCAPS Portugal, the Porto-based Portuguese Footwear, Components, Leather Goods Manufacturers' Association founded in 1975, supports the sector's international promotion and sustainable material development, including through its Portuguese Soul initiative. Runway photography was by Alexandre Azevedo for ModaLisboa, powered by CANON.
