LOST Music Festival 2026: Radical Contemporary Music in Borges' Bamboo Labyrinth

The fifth edition of LOST (Labyrinth Original Sound Track) Music Festival took place from July 3 to 5, 2026, at the Labirinto della Masone in Fontanellato, near Parma. The festival, directed by Luca Giudici, featured live performances, Italian premieres (including Suutoo's Starfire), and original productions within the world's largest bamboo labyrinth, designed by Franco Maria Ricci and inspired by Jorge Luis Borges. Notable collaborations included 20_14 Assembly (Rune Kielsgaard, Noa Kurzweil, Felisha Ledesma), BV/XT (Ben Vince and Xterea), and Egyptian artist Abosahar, known as the 'king of Trobby Music.' The event was hosted by the Fondazione Franco Maria Ricci, which also houses a museum with works by Luca Cambiaso, Girolamo Mazzola Bedoli, Adolfo Wildt, Ligabue, Vittorio Corcos, and Hayez, and a pyramid designed by Pier Carlo Bontempi.
