Kasia Kucharska S/S27: Latex Trompe-l’Œil at Berlin Fashion Week
Kasia Kucharska revealed her Spring/Summer 2027 collection, offering an intriguing trompe-l’œil experience that explored the fine line between what’s real and what’s perceived. This launch took place at the newly opened Open Fashion Block in Berlin. The collection featured classic items like trench coats, denim jackets, and knitwear, all expertly made from latex, incorporating deliberate design imperfections, missing elements, repeated motifs, and whimsical doodles to challenge the viewer’s perception. Collaborating with Nike, AAS:set:project (Gonzalez Haase AAS & Stéphane Moun) created the spatial setup. Franka Marlene Foth directed the performers, who engaged in surreal daily activities. A talented team, including stylist Natacha Voranger and photographer Shin Jeong Hoon, contributed to this event, which was part of Berlin Fashion Week and supported by the Fashion Council Germany.
