Just Like Heaven 2026: Indie Nostalgia Meets Dark Electronic Evolution

The sixth edition of the Just Like Heaven festival took place at Brookside, located at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, under a sweltering 95-degree sun, celebrating indie music from the early 2000s. The Chicago-based band Pixel Grip took the Stardust Stage, playing songs such as "Dancing on Your Grave" and "ALPHAPUSSY." The Rapture made a comeback with their hit "House of Jealous Lovers," produced by James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. LCD Soundsystem wrapped up the event with "Dance Yrself Clean" and "All My Friends," following tracks like "Tonite." The Strokes headlined the festival, though guitarist Nick Valensi was absent, and they performed classics along with the live debut of "Going to Babble On."
