Jonathan Formento Creates Motion Design for Normann Copenhagen's Allez Chair

Jonathan Formento collaborated with Danish design brand Normann Copenhagen in February to produce motion design for their new Allez Chair. Working directly with designer Simon Legald, Formento aimed to capture the chair's story through a fresh and compelling rhythm while maintaining the brand's clean, contemporary aesthetic. The film highlights the product's color variations, materiality, and packaging quality. Legald's design philosophy emphasizes simplicity, avoiding unnecessary details to create honest expressions. Normann Copenhagen describes the Allez Chair as bringing a contemporary look to the traditional café chair with strengths in design, functionality, and sustainability. The project involved CGI and animation by Formento, with product design by Legald for client Normann Copenhagen.
