Jazztage Dresden Marks 25th Edition With Nearly 100 Acts Across 17 Venues
The Jazztage Dresden jazz festival celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025, having first taken place in the Saxon capital in 2001. Since 2013 the event has operated under the motto "International, emotional, phänomenal," which again appears on this year's posters. Running from 2 October to 29 November, the festival brings together almost 100 acts from around the world at 17 venues along the Elbe, showcasing the diversity of jazz. Among the announced performers is Jasmin Tabatabai, originally known as an actress and now an established jazz singer, who will appear with the David Klein Quartett. Other confirmed artists include Tom Gaebel, Tina Tandler, Till Brönner and Manu Katché. The full line-up and further information are available on the Jazztage Dresden website. The anniversary edition follows the festival's long-standing format of mixing internationally recognized names with a broad programme spread over two months in Dresden.
