Italian Photographers Competition Launched for 2026 São Paulo Photography Festival
The 2026 São Paulo Photography Festival has unveiled a new contest for photographers of Italian descent, in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute of São Paulo. Eligible participants can submit a maximum of five pieces by April 19, 2026. A distinguished panel, featuring Margherita Marziali and Lillo Teodoro Guarneri from Italy, along with João Kulcsár, the festival director, will be responsible for the selection process. A total of fifteen pieces will be exhibited physically, while up to thirty images will be included in an audiovisual presentation. Winners will be revealed by May 5, 2026. One artist will be awarded an international flight ticket between Italy and Brazil, and digital manipulation is allowed, ensuring complete creative freedom.
