Instagram's Edits App Adds Custom Photo and Video Carousel Creation on iOS
Instagram's Edits app, a free video editing tool, now features the ability to create and edit carousels, enabling users to compile multi-slide posts with both photos and videos. Currently, this functionality is available on iOS, with plans for Android support in the near future. Users can find the Carousel option within the Projects tab of Edits. The update introduces enhanced tools for element placement, color grading, scaling, and rotation. Users can also apply various presets from Edits to their carousels. Dan Moreno from Instagram's Edits team mentioned that creators often requested this feature. Users can share their completed carousels directly to Instagram or download them. Edits is free on both iOS and Android, though carousel support is limited to iOS for now.
