Insta360's Snap Selfie Screen Expands Global Availability for Mobile Creators
Insta360 has rolled out its Snap selfie monitor globally after debuting it in Asia just last week. This gadget features a 3.5-inch high-res touchscreen that magnetically attaches to smartphones, enabling users to check their reflection while using the rear cameras. The Snap works with several devices, including iPhones and Androids from major brands like Apple, Samsung, Google, and more. It mirrors screens for both built-in and third-party camera apps. There’s also a version with a rectangular light that lets you adjust brightness and color temperature. Founder JK Liu highlighted that this addresses the challenge of using rear cameras without seeing yourself. The Snap costs $79.99 without light and $89.99 with it, measuring 8.3 mm thick and weighing 88.6 grams, and includes a protective cover. Unlike Dockcase's Selfix case for the iPhone 17 Pro, Insta360’s product is compatible with multiple devices and is detachable, although it does interfere with wireless charging and uses the USB-C port.
