Independent Announces 76 Exhibitors for 17th Edition at New Lower East Side Venue
Independent has revealed the 76 exhibitors participating in its 17th edition, scheduled for May 14–17 at Pier 36 in New York's Lower East Side. The fair will showcase over 100 artists, with more than 70% of presentations dedicated to single artists. Notable features include the 'Independent Debuts' program highlighting first New York solo shows for over one-third of artists, new collaborations with local galleries, and commissioned installations. Founder Elizabeth Dee described the relocation as an opportunity to innovate exhibition design and programming.
