festival-fair · 2026-10-05

The 2026 edition of Imaging World, a photography trade show lasting three days, wrapped up on October 4 in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2027, the event will move to Cologne, rebranded as 'Imaging World inspired by Photokina,' set to take place from September 24 to 26. The new event will be organized by Koelnmesse, the previous organizer of Photokina, in collaboration with RINGFOTO. After 70 years, Photokina held its final event in 2020 due to the pandemic and challenges in the industry. The Cologne gathering aims to revive the essence of Photokina, offering booths, workshops, live discussions, and interactive spaces across various media. Koelnmesse's Oliver Frese and RINGFOTO's Thilo Röhrig highlighted the event's emphasis on technology, community, and experience. More information will be provided later.
