Hohem Unveils Eyepic: World's First 2-in-1 Pocket Gimbal Camera at IFA 2026

During IFA 2026 in Berlin, Hohem unveiled the Eyepic, touted as the first-ever 2-in-1 pocket gimbal camera globally. This innovative device boasts a detachable camera unit equipped with three-axis stabilization, enabling its use as either a handheld gimbal camera or a hands-free wearable camera. Users can wear the camera using a provided hat clip or lanyard, or attach it to magnetic surfaces, and it is waterproof up to 33 feet (10 meters). The gimbal handle offers a 1080p live preview and remote operation from a distance of 33 feet. A standout feature is its physical rotating 2.51-inch touchscreen, which allows for landscape and portrait switching, facilitating native vertical 4K recording at 2160×3840 at 60fps, appealing to platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. The Eyepic aims to bridge the gap between action cameras and pocket gimbal cameras, potentially disrupting both sectors. Additionally, Hohem showcased the iSteady V4 Ultra and iSteady X4 smartphone gimbals with AI tracking and Apple DockKit support, along with the Mic 2 wireless microphone system capable of pairing with four transmitters. The Eyepic is anticipated to launch in Q1 2027, with detailed specifications and pricing yet to be revealed. These products are available for viewing at Messe Berlin, Hall 20, Booth H20-123, from September 4-8, 2026.
