HeyGears GX1: World's First Desktop Full-Color 3D and UV Printer

HeyGears has introduced the GX1, the world's first desktop full-color 3D and UV printer, combining multiple printing capabilities into a single home or studio device. The GX1 uses UV printing and 3D textures to create full-color objects from digital designs, eliminating the need for post-printing painting. It features an eight-channel ink system capable of producing over 10 million hues, and can print both full-color and transparent resin in a single continuous build. The printer supports 400+ materials, including wood, leather, glass, ceramic, metal, and fabrics. Water-soluble supports dissolve in water, preserving intricate details, and Precision Layer Control prints at a layer thickness about half the diameter of a human hair. The GX1 is currently being funded on Kickstarter, where it has raised over $14 million against an initial goal of $100,000. The campaign ends on September 11, with multiple tiers available and expected delivery in December 2026. The printer is aimed at creators of figurines, product mock-ups, and custom products.
