Hendrikka Waage Presents New Paintings at Red Dot Miami 2025 with Artio Gallery

Icelandic contemporary artist Hendrikka Waage will introduce a fresh series of paintings at Red Dot Miami 2025, organized by Artio Gallery. The display will be held at Booth #309 from December 3 to 7, 2025, during Art Basel Miami Beach Week, with a VIP preview on December 3 at Mana Wynwood in Miami's Wynwood Art District. Waage, originally from Reykjavik and now based in London, creates works characterized by vivid colors, textured layers, and symbolic imagery, often featuring motifs like a single ear to explore themes of attention and introspection. Her artistic practice, which includes acrylics, oils, and oil pastels, spans from realism to abstraction and reflects her multicultural experiences from living in Japan, the United States, Russia, and the UK. This exhibition marks her continued presence in international art fairs, highlighting her focus on perception and resilience in contemporary culture.
