Helen Garner and Charlotte Wood Launch Free Literary Series at Fed Square

A new complimentary literary series, Body of Work, is set to debut at Melbourne's Fed Square on 6 August, featuring Helen Garner in dialogue with Michael Williams, the editor of The Monthly and the former Artistic Director of the Sydney Writers' Festival. This series will transition from individual book launches to in-depth discussions that cover the entirety of a writer's career. On 24 September, Charlotte Wood, a Booker Prize nominee, will engage with curator Jaclyn Crupi. Wood, known for her seven novels and three non-fiction titles, tackles themes such as feminism, grief, solitude, and female rage. Sarah Tutton, Fed Square's Director of Programming, highlighted the uniqueness of these discussions, which are entirely free. More authors and event specifics will follow.
