Haute Couture Week A/W 2026: Debuts, Sophomore Shows, and a Margiela Auction
The A/W 2026 Haute Couture Week in Paris (6-9 July) features major debuts and returns. Pierpaolo Piccioli presents his first couture collection for Balenciaga, succeeding Demna. Duran Lantink debuts his first haute couture for Jean Paul Gaultier after two ready-to-wear shows. Matthieu Blazy (Chanel) and Jonathan Anderson (Dior) show their sophomore couture collections following lauded debuts. London label Standing Ground, led by Michael Stewart, joins as a guest designer. Olivier Theyskens returns with a new label, Boloria, shown on 5 July. Fendi's Maria Grazia Chiuri hosts her first couture show for the house in Rome at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea on 9 July. A landmark auction of 200 pieces from Martin Margiela's personal collection takes place on 9 July in Paris, co-hosted by Maurice Auction and Kerry Taylor Auctions. Other shows include Schiaparelli, Armani Privé, and Viktor & Rolf.
