Gowanus Open Studios Marks 30 Years as Brooklyn Waterfront Transforms

Studio rentals begin at $3,200/month, while picnic tables and deck chairs have been placed along the canal. Artist Elizabeth O'Reilly presented "Wind and Water, 3rd Street Gowanus." In Red Hook, the artistic scene continues to thrive despite a recent five-alarm fire. Studios in Sunset Park are available for under $600. Bushwick showcased diasporic art and portraits. Cannupa Hanska Luger's "American Traditional" will conclude on October 24 at Garth Greenan Gallery.
