Google Earth has introduced a flight simulator mode to its web version, allowing users to fly through aerial photography data. Released globally on Friday, the feature is accessible via a web browser without requiring an app download. Previously available as a hidden feature in the desktop app, this experimental version is free to use with just a mouse and keyboard. Users can access it by navigating to the Google Earth webpage, selecting 'Explore Earth,' then 'Tools,' and 'Flight Simulator.' Controls include arrow keys for direction and Page Up/Down for speed. Early users report it is tricky to maneuver, with a learning curve that may cause crashes.
