German Pavilion at Kerala Literature Festival 2026 Designed by The Purple Ink Studio

The Goethe Institute has tasked The Purple Ink Studio with creating the German Pavilion for the upcoming 2026 Kerala Literature Festival in Kozhikode. Spanning 11,000 square meters, this project will be executed by Pandal Planners, with structural support from Nirmiti Collective. As the featured country, Germany intends to highlight its rich cultural ties to Kerala. Now in its ninth year, the festival draws more than 500,000 attendees over a four-day period along the Arabian Sea. Miwa Negoro is curating the pavilion’s programming, featuring contributions from various organizations like Sandbox Collective and Seagull Books. Notable photographers include Saurabh Suryan and Advait Vinod. The design team is made up of numerous talented individuals from Bengaluru-based The Purple Ink Studio.
