Fundació Joan Miró Screens Charlotte Perriand Documentary for DART Festival's 10th Anniversary

Two films anchor a screening programme at the Fundació Joan Miró tied to its Charlotte Perriand exhibition and the tenth anniversary of the DART Festival. Stéphane Ghez's 2019 French documentary «Charlotte Perriand, pionnière de l'art de vivre», running 52 minutes, traces the designer's career through a personal-diary framing, covering her avant-garde approach to architecture, her interior design work and the creation of some of the twentieth century's most iconic furniture, alongside her independence and social commitment. It screens in original version with Catalan subtitles. Macià Florit Campins's 2024 Spanish short «Tòtem», 17 minutes and also subtitled in Catalan, follows Laetitia as she tries to stop the Menorca quarry of Toni — the island's last stonecutter — from becoming a landfill, and the pair's journey into marés stone. The event takes place on 24 October 2026 at 17:30 in the foundation's auditorium, with free admission requiring online reservation. A post-screening conversation brings together Martina Millà, curator of «Charlotte Perriand. La libertad de repensar el mundo», and Beatriz Borque, architect and exhibition designer of that show; journalist and art historian Anatxu Zabalbeascoa moderates.
