Frieze Seoul 2026 Returns with Over 130 Galleries and Six Must-See Presentations
The fifth international art fair, Frieze Seoul 2026, is set to take place at COEX in Gangnam from September 2 to 5, 2026, under the direction of Patrick Lee. In collaboration with Kiaf SEOUL, the event will showcase more than 130 galleries from 30 different countries, aligning with significant biennials throughout Korea. The fair will focus on highlighting emerging galleries and evolving artists. Prominent participants will include Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, and well-known Korean galleries such as Gallery Hyundai. Frieze Week will also engage local neighborhoods and institutions, featuring initiatives like Frieze LIVE: The Find Seoul and Frieze Music. Additionally, Frieze House Seoul will present exhibitions from August 27 to September 19, featuring works like Tanabe Chikuunsai IV's 'INVISIBLE FOREST' and Ryan Gander's 'The Find Seoul.'
