Frieze New York 2024 Returns with 60+ Galleries and Focus Section

Frieze New York 2024 is set to take place from May 1 to 5 at The Shed, featuring over 60 galleries from 25 countries. Deutsche Bank, a long-time global partner, has been supporting the fair for 20 years. Christine Messineo, the Americas Director at Frieze, pointed out how important the fair is for bringing together top-notch contemporary art exhibitors. Kristell Chadé, the Executive Director of Frieze Fairs, highlighted that this event allows leading galleries to present groundbreaking artists. More than half of the galleries are New York-based, including names like 303 Gallery, Gagosian, and David Zwirner. The Focus section, curated by Lumi Tan and backed by Stone Island, will showcase eleven emerging galleries with solo displays. Concurrent events include various exhibitions at major venues like the Met and MoMA.
