Frieze London 2026 Puts Discovery First with Solo Shows and Three New Sections
The 2026 edition of Frieze London opens with solo exhibitions at its entrance, emphasizing a theme of exploration. Brazilian artist Márcia Falcão is showcased by Fortes d'Aloia & Gabriel, while Polish sculptor Agata Ingarden is represented by Berthold Pott. The fair comprises three distinct sections: "Focus," which highlights approximately thirty galleries established within the last twelve years, featuring Ella Fleck at Ehrlich Steinberg and Jessica Wilson at Diez Gallery. "Artist-to-Artist" connects seasoned artists with newcomers, including South Korean sculptor Eusung Lee at Cylinder, invited by Ayoung Kim, and Eilen Itzel do Espírito Santo, recommended by Firelei Báez, at Bolanle Contemporary. "The Code Universe," curated by Carol Yinghua Lu, presents artists such as Karim Boumjimar and Carolyn Lazard. Frieze London takes place from 14 to 18 October 2026.
