Frankfurt's Museumsuferfest Returns with Art, Music, and Theater Along the Main

From August 28 to 30, the Museumsufer in Frankfurt am Main transforms into the city's longest festival mile, hosting one of Europe's largest cultural festivals. The event, set against the impressive skyline, combines art, music, and social encounters in a unique atmosphere along the Main River. Participating institutions include the Städel Museum, the Historische Museum Frankfurt, the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, and the Museum Angewandte Kunst, all offering exhibitions and special programs with or without guided tours until the evening hours. Numerous stages, such as the Batschkapp, present a variety of musical genres, artists, and diverse program points along the riverbank. Live acts, bands, DJs, and newcomers provide entertainment on multiple stages, while families can enjoy a range of participatory activities. Additional highlights include the Antiquariatsmeile (antiquarian mile), the Kunstwiese (art lawn), the Orgel- und Chormeile (organ and choir mile), and 'Klang im Kloster' (Sound in the Monastery). The festival, which has become a recurring highlight at the end of summer, underscores Frankfurt's vibrant cultural scene and its appeal as a destination for art and music lovers.
