French director François Ozon has released his latest film 'Lo straniero' (The Stranger), an adaptation of Albert Camus' 1942 novel. The film premiered during the Easter weekend in Italian cinemas. Ozon, known for works like 'Le temps qui reste' and 'Giovane bella', described this project as one of the most ambitious of his career. The story follows Meursault, a thirty-year-old office worker in 1938 Algiers, whose life unravels after his mother's funeral when he becomes entangled with his neighbor Raymond Sintès.
