The 25th anniversary of Fotofestiwal Łódź, established in 2001, will take place from June 18 to June 28, 2026, with a theme centered on the bond between animals and humans. The primary exhibition, titled 'We, Animals,' hosted at Art_Inkubato, showcases works such as Feng Li's 'Pig' and Nikita Teryoshin's 'Backyard Diaries,' under the curation of Marta Szymańska and others, which examines the commodification of animals. Additional featured pieces include Maija Tammi's 'Octomom,' Carlos Alba's 'I'll Bet the Devil My Head,' Richard Barnes' 'Animal Logic,' and Luke Stephenson's 'An Incomplete Dictionary of Show Birds.' The festival also highlights exiled Belarusian artists and marks the Polish debut of Philip Montgomery.
