Fondation des artistes celebrates 50 years with free concerts and exhibitions in Nogent-sur-Marne

The Fondation des artistes, a discreet yet vital support system for artists in France, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a free public event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 3 PM to midnight at its Nogent-sur-Marne estate. The foundation operates the only retirement home in France specifically for aging artists, along with 36 artist studios and the Maison d'art Bernard Anthonioz contemporary art center. The anniversary program includes concerts and DJ sets by Jason Glasser, The Hustler, Ouri, and Frànçois and The Atlas Mountains, as well as performances by Yasmina Tayoub and Leïla Alice, and dance concerts by Garenne and Paris Bal Folk with Julien Wieser. Visitors can explore open studios, the retirement home, and the exhibition 'Collage, poésie, révolte' featuring 86-year-old artist Cozette de Charmoy. At the Maison d'art Bernard Anthonioz, the group show 'Anniversarium Stress' with artists including Claude Closky, Franck Scurti, and Jeanne Susplugas critically examines celebration. The venue is accessible via RER A Nogent-sur-Marne station, followed by a 15-minute walk.
