Florian Hecker Creates Irreplicable Sound Installation for Bottega Veneta S/S 2027 at Milan Fashion Week

festival-fair · 2026-09-27

On 26 September 2026, during Milan Fashion Week, Bottega Veneta showcased its S/S 2027 collection, featuring a unique installation by German artist Florian Hecker. Titled Scintillations 20 (2026), the piece utilized 20 loudspeakers to create a "cloud-like" soundscape, generated through advanced synthesis techniques. Bottega Veneta preserved one loudspeaker for its collection, rendering the installation one-of-a-kind. The soundtrack for the runway was composed by British artist Mark Leckey, who previously collaborated with Hecker on a record. The venue also displayed resin-coated cardboard stools by Illya Goldman Gubin, adorned with leather flowers. Trotter's collection marked a shift from spring to summer, encapsulating the theme "wear less, but feel more," and was Trotter's third ready-to-wear show for the brand.
