FIJA 2026 International Young Actors Festival Returns to Paris with Emerging Filmmakers
The third installment of the Festival International des Jeunes Acteur•ice•s (FIJA) is set to take place in Paris from April 17 to 24, 2026. This year’s event will showcase eight feature films and twenty-five short films, all featuring lead actors and actresses under the age of 27. The opening ceremony on April 17 at Majestic Passy will present Jaime Rosales's 'Morlaix.' Competing feature films include 'Truly Naked,' 'Sukkwan Island,' 'Le Garçon qui faisait danser les collines,' 'D'Où vient le vent,' 'The Plague,' and 'Fantasy.' Short films will be screened from April 20-24 at Centre Anim de la Jonquière, with directors such as Pichardo Adán and Vanessa Zambernardi. Jurors for the festival include Jean-Christophe Bouvet and Théo Fernandez, with partnerships involving Paris City Hall and discussions with industry experts.
