Fifth Edition of TAC! Urban Architecture Festival Launches with Energy Theme
The fifth edition of TAC! Urban Architecture Festival has been announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda and the Arquia Foundation. The event will take place at two official venues: CCCB in Barcelona from October 1 to December 1, 2026, and Sestao in Bizkaia from October 15 to November 15, 2026. The festival aims to highlight public spaces and support emerging architects under 45 through a competition for temporary pavilions, with proposals due by April 30. This year's central theme is energy, exploring its role in urban development and sustainability. The festival has grown since its 2022 launch, with past projects receiving recognition including the FAD Architecture Award.
