Festival Híbrido Opens Submissions for 2nd Hybrid Art Salon

Between July 6 and 31, artists from Brazil and Latin America can apply for the 2nd Hybrid Art Salon, part of the fourth edition of the Festival Híbrido, scheduled for September 26–27 at Komplexo Tempo in Mooca, São Paulo. Curated by Visionariom Art, the salon focuses on visionary, psychedelic, contemporary, and experimental art, aiming to become a leading platform for the genre in Latin America. Thirty artists will be selected to present works in painting, drawing, illustration, photography, sculpture, digital art, textile art, video art, performance, and multimedia installations. Selected artists will be announced on August 10. The salon was conceived by curators Alex Jr. and Carol Gouveia of Visionariom Art, seeking to foster dialogue between art, culture, and expanded states of consciousness, and to promote exchange among Latin American artists. The previous edition featured Peruvian artist Pablo Amaringo, known for his ayahuasca-inspired Amazonian imagery, along with Randy Gonzales, Antonio Peticov, and Ivald Granato. Founded in 2022, Festival Híbrido has become a key Brazilian event exploring intersections of art, psychedelia, cannabis, music, and contemporary culture. The 2026 edition will include a multidisciplinary program with exhibitions, musical performances, immersive experiences, gastronomy, social spaces, and cultural activities. Applications are via an online form provided by the festival organization.
