Festival Anfibia Returns to Madrid with France as Guest of Honor

The Anfibia Festival in Madrid takes place from November 3 to 8, showcasing France at venues such as Sala Equis, FNAC Callao, and the Instituto Francés de Madrid. This event emphasizes the blending of genres within literature, video games, and manga. Featured screenings include Léa Mysius's Histoires de la nuit and adaptations of Pride and Prejudice, Tangles, and La Perra. Workshops will be led by Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella, alongside a shark tank-style pitching event. Literary highlights consist of Ledicia Costas discussing Infamia, a shared-reading gathering, and the videopodcast Estación Anfibia. The reading club is organized by Librería Pérgamo, while Next Lab Generation showcases the VR experience Lumen and hosts discussions with directors Marc Pujolar and Bárbara Mestanza. ANFIBIA PRO links twelve publishing houses, with Culturia coordinating the festival in collaboration with local institutions.
