FAE 2026: Festival de Arquitectura en Español Returns to Mexico City

The eighth edition of the Festival de Arquitectura en Español (FAE) will take place from September 2 to 4, 2026, in Mexico City and the State of Mexico. Organized by the Instituto Español de Arquitectura (IESARQ), the festival will gather architects from Mexico, Belgium, Portugal, Argentina, Spain, and Colombia. The event will be held at three emblematic works of Mexican architecture, with a format that emphasizes in situ experiences: each day begins with the building itself—its history, materiality, and ways of being inhabited—followed by conferences, conversations, guided architectural tours, portfolio reviews, and informal encounters.
