Fabrice Hyber's Monumental Inflatable Teddy Bears Welcome Visitors to Art Paris 2026 at Grand Palais
From April 9 to 12, 2026, the Grand Palais will host two impressive inflatable teddy bear sculptures by French artist Fabrice Hyber during Art Paris. The installation, titled "Ted Hyber," features a 10-meter-high green bear and a 5-meter-tall transparent bear crafted from crystalline PVC. The green bear, which debuted in Shanghai in 2025, symbolizes the arrival of spring, while the transparent bear, named "Ted Hyb'Air," serves as a shield against pollution. These pieces are part of Hyber's ongoing "Hyber heroes" series that started in 1998. In 2026, Art Paris, a prominent contemporary art fair in France, will present 165 exhibitors, with a thematic path curated by Loïc Le Gall.
