DxO PhotoLab 10.1 Adds One-Click Affinity Export via Native .af Format

digital · 2026-10-05

DxO Labs has collaborated with Affinity to incorporate the .af file format into DxO PhotoLab 10.1, enabling photographers to export processed RAW images as native documents suitable for retouching and layout. Each export generates an .af file, with the option to include the unedited original for reference. Affinity's applications—Pixel, Vector, and Layout—utilize the same format, facilitating easy transitions between retouching and layout tasks. However, it is important to note that the .af document does not retain PhotoLab's settings, necessitating a re-export for RAW development. This partnership merges DxO's proficiency in RAW processing with Affinity's capabilities, offering a complimentary Affinity app for macOS and Windows. DxO PhotoLab 10.1 is currently available as a free update for existing PhotoLab 10 users, with new users priced at €249.99.
