Drodesera Festival Explores Ipernatural Performance at Centrale Fies

The 39th Drodesera festival commenced on July 19, 2019, at Centrale Fies, located in Dro, Italy. This year's festival was themed "Ipernatural" and featured a Live Works program directed by curators Barbara Boninsegna, Simone Frangi, and Daniel Blanga Gubbay. Ten artists showcased their talents, including Nana Biluš Abaffy, Parvin Saljoughi, and Rehema Chachage, among others. The event highlighted innovative works such as 'Black Med' by Invernomuto and 'Life is hard and then you die. Part 3' by Juli Apponen, addressing significant issues like gender, postcolonial narratives, and black identity. A Free School of Performance was also part of the festival.
