Digital Kitchen Creates Immersive Climate Pledge Arena Installation in Seattle

digital · 2026-04-15

Digital Kitchen has unveiled 'Turn the Tide,' a large-scale experiential installation at Amazon's Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Spanning nearly 400 feet across the venue's east and west walls, the work transforms these surfaces into immersive storytelling canvases that merge art, motion, and data. The installation reflects the planet's rhythm and marks five years of the Climate Pledge's evolution. The east wall alone measures 190 feet wide and incorporates 150 interlocking panels combining LED, vinyl, and backlit fabric. Visual elements draw from macro photography of natural elements, creating gradients that shift and breathe like tides. Animated light and color wash across the expanse to echo collective progress. The project was developed with Amazon's client team, which provided clear vision while allowing creative flexibility. Motion gestures ripple across compositions, revealing specific facts and figures about the Climate Pledge upon closer inspection. The arena is home to the Seattle Storm basketball team and Seattle Kraken hockey team.
