De Gaulle Diptych Sequel and Annecy Animation Festival Highlighted

The second installment of Antonin Baudry's diptych on General de Gaulle, titled "J'écris ton nom," has been released, following "L'âge de fer." Simon Abkarian reprises his role as de Gaulle. The film covers the final hours of World War II in France. Its release was moved forward to coincide with the Fête du cinéma, aiming to boost disappointing box office numbers for this French superproduction. Also featured is the Indian action film "Eega, la mouche vengeresse," about a man reincarnated as a fly. The 50th edition of the Festival du Film d'Animation d'Annecy is spotlighted, honoring "Des Minions et des monstres" by French director Pierre Coffin, a new installment in the American Minions saga.
