CWB launches first edition of Soirées Proleptiques blending theatre and dance

The Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles (CWB) presents the first edition of the Soirées Proleptiques in 2026, a new format showcasing early sketches of theatrical, choreographic, and hybrid productions. The event emphasizes experimentation and direct audience engagement, with performances across the venue's spaces including a theatre, bunker, and cinema. Featured artists include Caroline Roche & Neptune with 'À travers chant', a 25-minute duo blending bal and bourrée dance with live music from the trio Phonème (vielle à roue, banjo, violin). Lou Viallon presents 'I FEEL YOU' (AMA Brussels), a queer performance exploring desire and power with sound artist Chloé George Barthod. Vincent Glowinski offers 'Resonant Trees' (Entropie Production), a live drawing performance accompanying Léo Dupleix's harpsichord compositions, projected in real-time. Erika Zueneli presents 'KITSCHEN' (TONGTWIST), a performance with Elisa Wery and Louise de Bastier examining kitsch, repetition, and intergenerational dynamics. The soirées aim to support contemporary writing in progress, treating the stage as a space for reading the present.
